• May 23rd - Philip Carter Winery - 247th Anniversary Celebration of American Wine
  Philip Carter Winery invites you to celebrate the 247th Anniversary of the first internationally recognized fine wines in America, and discover the first Family of American Wine. Hosted by Thomas Jefferson and Charles Carter, enjoy live music, equestrian demonstrations, the second annual Philip Carter Fencing Classic, luxury cars from Aston Martin, food, premium wines, and the annual medal ceremony recognizing the 1762 international gold medal awarded to the Carter Family by the Royal Society of the Arts, UK, for producing America's first fine wines. • June 19th - Veramar Vineyard - Movie Night at the Vineyard

• July 18th - Veramar Vineyard - Dog Days of Summer
  Pack up the pooch for Dog Days! This is a great event for wine and dog lovers alike! Dogs and owners will both enjoy an afternoon at the vineyard. Doggie treats available. Dogs must be on leash. Light fair available for purchase. Event from 1 pm until 3 pm. Call for more details 540 955 5510.
• July 24th - The Winery at La Grange- Sangria & Guacamole.
  Enjoy a pitcher of the Winery at La Grange’s famous sangria and guacamole and chips while taking in the beautiful mountain vistas that this historic site provides. • July 25 - 26 - Bluemont Vineyard - Blackberry Festival
  Bluemont’s Blackberry Wine is a rare find in Virginia. Our Blackberry has an herbal quality with hints of Dill/cilantro/thyme. The balanced sweetness brings out the robust flavors in many cheeses.   The Tasting Room will be open until 9 PM for this end of summer celebration. Novermber 7th & 8th - Fox Meadow - Le Renard Rouge Blending Party
This activity is held in the wine cellar where attendees are invited to taste possible blends of the 2008 Le Renard Rouge. You will taste the several blends being considered and can vote on which blend you prefer. Along with the future blends you will also taste previous vintages of this award winning wine. • December - The Winery at La Grange- Christmas Celebration.
